Our Story
Stowey was born from a frustratingly familiar experience: driving to IKEA, loading up a flatpack wardrobe, and then discovering at the checkout that it absolutely would not fit in the boot of a hatchback. After an embarrassing return trip and a hired van, the idea was clear — there had to be a smarter way.
We built Stowey to be the tool we wished existed. Instead of guessing, measuring, and hoping for the best, you can now enter your items and your car in seconds and get a precise answer. Our 3D packing algorithm considers your cargo's exact dimensions against your specific vehicle's boot space, accounting for seat configurations and real-world constraints.
What started as a single IKEA calculator has grown into a multi-store platform covering major retailers across Australia, the US, and beyond — with more stores added regularly based on community feedback.
